Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shipping/Receiving Associate to join our team. In this vital role, you will manage the movement of materials and finished goods, ensuring accurate and timely shipping and receiving processes. Your efforts will help maintain smooth warehouse operations and support our production flow.
Duties
- Prepare, package, and label products for shipment using appropriate packaging materials and techniques
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to load, unload, and move inventory safely within the warehouse
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders
- Conduct order picking and packing with accuracy, utilizing order picker equipment and basic math skills to ensure correct quantities
- Maintain organized stock levels through stocking, inventory counts, and cycle counts in accordance with warehouse distribution standards
- Record all shipping and receiving transactions accurately in warehouse management systems and MRPs (Material Requirements Planning systems)
Requirements
- Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in shipping & receiving procedures
- Chauffeur's License
- Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for order picking & packing accuracy
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments
- Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes including load & unload operations
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
