SHIPPING OPERATOR
Monday – Friday
8:00 am – 5:00 pm
$17.00 per hour, must be able to work overtime and weekends.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
- Pick, pack, label, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
- Move raw materials, finished products, and packaging supplies throughout the facility
- Prepare shipping documents, including packing slips and bills of lading
- Ensure shipments are packaged safely, securely, and efficiently
- Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies
- Assist with general warehouse and shipping duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Previous shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience preferred
- Forklift experience or certification preferred
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Basic math and computer skills required- must be able to pass a pre-employment math test
