Quality Pro Services Greenville is seeking a motivated and dependable Install Helper to join our growing team. The Install Helper will work alongside experienced technicians to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and light commercial systems. Key Responsibilities
Assist lead technicians with the installation and setup of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment.
Support the assembly and connection of plumbing and mechanical components in accordance with schematics and system designs.
Use diagnostic tools, such as ohmmeters, to help identify and troubleshoot system issues.
Participate in the maintenance, repair, and servicing of HVAC/R systems at various job sites.
Assist with general mechanical tasks, including equipment repair, welding support, and property maintenance.
Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper handling of refrigerants and other potentially hazardous materials.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience in construction, mechanical work, or a service technician role is preferred but not required.
Basic understanding of HVAC systems, plumbing, refrigeration, or mechanical principles is a plus.
Familiarity with schematics, tools, and diagnostic equipment is beneficial.
Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and ability to follow instructions are essential.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
Mechanical aptitude or prior hands-on experience with equipment repair will be considered an asset.
