Successful coaching experience, preferably at the high school level.

Background that includes a high level of basketball knowledge.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge of best practices in coaching.

Experience working as part of a collaborative team.
A successful candidate will be able to:

Relate to and instruct student-athletes in large groups, small groups, and individualized settings.

Develop and use strategies to improve individual and team play.

Ability to work cooperatively with administration and staff.

Ability to encourage student participation in basketball.

Possess strong organizational, motivational, discipline, and fundamental teaching skills.

Work with other coaches by supporting and encouraging students to participate in other sports.

Able to communicate with players, parents, and other coaches.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure student success and a positive school climate.
Salary & Benefits
Stipend: $4,000
