The Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Florida is seeking to hire a Full-time Lead Instructor and Program Teacher for our Employment & Training Department.
Schedule/Location: Year-round, full-time, on-site at the Miccosukee Employment and Training Center (Miccosukee Reservation). Remote work is not available.
Position Overview
The Lead Instructor & Program Teacher supports adult and youth education services by providing academic instruction and supporting college and career readiness for Miccosukee students.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (Teacher Certification preferred)
- Experience working with adolescents and adults
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Reliable attendance and ability to work full-time on-site
Key Responsibilities
- Provide instruction and tutoring in core subjects (math, reading, and language) for Adult Education and Higher Education students
- Support Higher Education students with coursework, study skills, and academic success planning
- Coordinate and teach within the Summer Youth Program (career readiness, job training, mentoring, field/ college trips, and Everglades conservation activities)
- Maintain accurate, confidential student records and contact information
- Other duties as assigned to support program and grant requirements

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
