The Director of Procurement provides strategic leadership for the organization's global procurement function, ensuring the timely, cost-effective, and compliant acquisition of goods, materials, equipment, and services that enable safe and efficient operations. This role establishes and oversees procurement governance, drives sourcing excellence, and ensures adherence to applicable industry regulations, health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, and corporate policies.
Working collaboratively with Operations, Engineering, Drilling, Maintenance, Logistics, Finance, and Legal, the Director develops procurement strategies that optimize supplier performance, reduce total cost of ownership, strengthen supply chain resilience, and mitigate operational risk. The role champions continuous improvement, strategic supplier partnerships, and data-driven decision-making to support operational excellence and deliver sustainable business value across the enterprise.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Logistics, Finance, or related fields.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- 12-15 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline, with a focus on sourcing, procurement, or category management.
- Minimum of 10 years in a senior leadership role withing the oil, energy, or industrial sectors.
- Ability to analyze large and complex sets of data and deliver insights to stakeholders.
- Must be able to establish and maintain good working relationships with team, management, and departments.
- Proven experience in supply chain management, with a strong understanding of end-to-end processes.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to interpret and act on complex data sets.

- Knowledge of international procurement practices and its financial effects.
