Industrial Manufacturing Maintenance Technician
Location: Bluffton, IN
Shifts: Afternoon & Night Shift Openings
Pay: $30-$35/hr + $2,500 Sign-On Bonus
Position Overview
LJW Solutions are looking for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery and facility equipment.
- Perform preventative and emergency maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, equipment manuals, and technical drawings.
- Replace motors, gearboxes, bearings, chains, conveyors, valves, and other machine components.
- Perform basic PLC troubleshooting and equipment calibrations.
- Complete scheduled maintenance and maintain accurate work records.
- Follow all plant safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
- PLC experience preferred.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Experience with conveyors, motors, gearboxes, bearings, chains, valves, and industrial equipment.
- Ability to pass the Ramsay Maintenance Skills Assessment.
Working Environment
- Fast-paced manufacturing environment with heat, noise, moving machinery, and airborne particles.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
