Overview
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to join our team for local flatbed deliveries. Our trucks are equipped with overhead rail boom unloaders and rear-mounted knuckle boom cranes to assist with loading and unloading.
No prior crane experience required — we provide full training on all equipment.
This is a local driving role with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and efficient delivery operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A CDL flatbed trucks for local deliveries
- Load and unload materials using boom and crane equipment (training provided)
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure on-time service
- Complete required logs, mileage records, and Hours of Service documentation
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Perform basic vehicle upkeep and communicate mechanical concerns
- Maintain professional communication with dispatch, customers, and team members
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times
- Be flexible to work from alternate locations based on delivery needs
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL license
- Ability to safely operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Strong commitment to safety and reliability
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Willingness to learn equipment operation (training provided)
- Must be able to meet physical demands of the role, including loading/unloading materials
- Reliable transportation and ability to work assigned local routes
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with flatbed driving or freight delivery
- Familiarity with load securement and DOT regulations
- Basic mechanical understanding of commercial vehicles
