Join Our Team as a Maintenance Electrician IV – Powering Critical Oilfield Operations!

We’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician IV to ensure the reliable operation of vital equipment and infrastructure at our Mentone, TX site. In this role, you will perform electrical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections on a broad range of equipment, including motors, VFDs, MCCs, transformers, generators, pumps, VRUs, LACT units, SWDs, lighting, and control circuits. You’ll support medium-voltage systems integral to ESP and gas lift operations, read electrical schematics, and utilize diagnostic tools to resolve issues efficiently. Your work will be essential to maintaining safe, continuous operations in a physically demanding outdoor environment that may include extreme heat, cold, and elevation work.
Required Skills:

Minimum of four years’ industrial electrical maintenance experience, with oilfield exposure.

Strong troubleshooting skills on motors, VFDs, relays, contactors, MCCs, and electrical panels up to 480V.

Experience with medium-voltage equipment and associated systems.

Proficiency in reading electrical prints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

Skilled in using multimeters, megohmmeters, and diagnostic tools for electrical testing.

Capable of troubleshooting control circuits, 4-20 mA signals, and PLC-related field wiring.

Ability to work independently with excellent communication skills for documentation and team coordination.

Commitment to safety practices, including lockout/tagout, work permits, PPE, and electrical safety standards.
Nice to Have Skills:

Texas Journeyman Electrician License or willingness to obtain within one year.

Experience with electrical system startup, commissioning, and system documentation using SAP.

Familiarity with oilfield-specific equipment such as VRUs, LACT units, and SWDs.
Preferred Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Proven track record in industrial electrical maintenance, with specific oilfield sector experience.
Other Requirements:

Must be willing and able to work a 7 days on / 7 days off rotational schedule.

Staying at the Mentone mancamp during scheduled rotations is preferred.

Ability to respond to after-hours callouts and emergency repairs.

Ability to climb ladders, work from elevated positions, and lift heavy tools or components.

Travel between field locations during the scheduled rotation.
