Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Warehouse Associate & Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently supporting warehouse operations, including inventory control, materials handling, and operating heavy equipment such as forklifts. Additionally, you will deliver flooring products safely and promptly to job sites, ensuring a seamless order fulfillment process. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be hands-on in a fast-paced environment while supporting the overall success of our distribution operations. Responsibilities
- Safely operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery to load, unload, and move materials within the facility.
- Manage inventory control using inventory management software to track stock levels, perform stock replenishment, and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Prepare orders accurately to ensure timely shipment processing.
- Handle shipping and receiving duties by verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and preparing outgoing deliveries with proper packaging and labeling.
- Conduct manual handling of materials with adherence to safety regulations such as OSHA standards; perform heavy lifting as required for stocking shelves or loading trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by stocking shelves, organizing inventory, and ensuring safety protocol adherence at all times.
- Deliver products efficiently to designated locations using personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safety procedures; document delivery activities accurately on load/unload logs.
Preferred Requirements
- Prior experience operating warehouse equipment including forklift trucks, pallet jacks, crane operation, and heavy machinery.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting
- Technical proficiency with inventory management software, and basic math skills for order accuracy.
- Construction or manufacturing experience is a plus; mechanical knowledge can be advantageous for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to follow safety protocols diligently in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in delivery driving or logistics is desirable.
