Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Electrical Project Manager to lead large-scale electrical projects within the electrical contracting industry. Duties
- Lead the planning, execution, and completion of electrical projects by managing project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Review and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate implementation of system design specifications.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate seamless project communication and execution.
- Oversee the permitting phase involvement to ensure all necessary approvals are obtained efficiently while maintaining compliance with local regulations.
- Manage project contracts, change orders, and procurement processes using tools such as ProCore and Bluebeam for documentation and collaboration.
- Monitor construction site activities to ensure adherence to safety standards such as NFPA 70 compliance while overseeing construction site experience.
- Conduct construction estimating using HeavyBid or similar tools to accurately forecast costs and manage project budgets proactively.
- Review construction management plans, schedules (Primavera P6), and construction scheduling coordination to keep projects on track.
- Lead the review of construction drawings and schematics for accuracy before installation begins; ensure proper electrical blueprint reading skills are applied throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project risks by identifying potential issues early through diligent project management practices and implementing effective solutions promptly.
- Ensure all work aligns with electrical engineering standards, system design requirements, and NEC regulations while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing large-scale electrical projects within the construction or electrical contracting industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, system design, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation.
- Proficiency in project management software including Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid or similar tools for estimating and documentation.
- Deep understanding of NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and NFPA 70 compliance requirements for safe electrical installations.
- Experience in construction estimating, cost management, contract management, and project scheduling is essential.
- Familiarity with permitting processes and regulatory requirements related to electrical systems in commercial or industrial settings.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively across multiple projects simultaneously.
- Construction site experience with a focus on safety protocols and quality assurance practices.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, team members, vendors, and regulatory agencies.

Pay: $83,845.91 - $100,975.72 per year
