Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and load shipments using material handling equipment such as RF scanners, forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques
- Stock shelves accurately, organize products, and ensure proper placement according to merchandising standards
- Conduct inventory control activities including stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory management to prevent discrepancies
- Operate warehouse equipment safely following best practices for heavy lifting and safe lifting procedures
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by verifying shipments against purchase orders and processing inbound/outbound deliveries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area to promote safety and efficiency
- Support retail store operations by preparing products for display, packaging items, and replenishing stock as needed
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience or retail store experience preferred; familiarity with grocery or produce departments is a plus
- Proficiency in using RF scanners, forklift operation, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and stock management
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a bonus for serving diverse customer needs
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while following safe lifting practices
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying inventory quantities
- Customer service orientation with a positive attitude toward supporting retail store operations
- Knowledge of merchandising standards, shipping & receiving procedures, and retail product knowledge is advantageous
