Overview
Family run bar/restaurant located at the base of Snowshoe resort. If you like working in a fast paced, team run establishment this job is for you! Our menu consists of mostly scratch made items, where all dishes are prepared fresh everyday to a meticulous standard. Employee housing is available.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assemble components for menu items with precision and speed
- Cook and plate dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations to ensure food safety and efficiency
- Handle food with care, adhering to proper food handling and safety protocols at all times
- Support catering events by preparing meals and ensuring timely service
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service and guest satisfaction
Skills
- Experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with special dietary needs
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly within a restaurant or food service environment
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Skilled in knife techniques, food industry best practices, and kitchen equipment operation
- Proven experience in food service, catering, or serving roles that require attention to detail and efficiency
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude towards food quality and safety standards
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
