SMA, seeks a Board Eligible / Board Certified Child Psychiatrist for a very flexible remote 8 hour per week role.
SMA Psychiatry is a local multi-specialty medical group dedicated to caring for complex, underserved populations, known for great job satisfaction across nearly every level of behavioral healthcare in San Diego.
ADOLESCENT PSYCHIATRY:
Join a comfortably-paced, non-profit outpatient clinic in central San Diego serving teens in a Supporting Teens Engaging Positive Solutions (STEPS) program to help treat teens with problematic sexual behaviors. Opportunity to connect with their family, teachers & coaches as desired. 2 hour intakes and 1 hour follow up visits. Smartcare EMR for documentation & e-prescribing
REQUIREMENTS: Must be a physician ABPN Board Eligible or Board Certified in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and posess unrestricted California Medical & DEA licenses at the time of application. No J1 visa candidates or NP/PAs.
SCHEDULE: The role is 8 hours a week and could be delivered on one day or divided among multiple days to suit your preference.
LOCATION: Work may be performed by telepsychiatry, or in person at the central San Diego or Escondido offices
COMPENSATION: $ 230 per hour for the Child Psychiatry part time role, malpractice insurance which includes tail coverage is provided. Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligible
