POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role is essential to maintaining cleanliness, organization, and efficiency across all kitchen operations. Responsibilities include washing and restocking dishes, utensils, glassware, and equipment, as well as supporting kitchen setup, deliveries, and general cleanliness.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Maintain a clean and organized dish area, ensuring all items are properly washed and stored
- Operate and set up dish machines, sinks, and stations
- Keep floors clean and dry throughout the shift
- Wash, sanitize, and store china, glassware, silverware, cookware, and containers
- Change dish machine and sink water at least every two hours, following proper chemical usage guidelines
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries in a timely manner
- Empty trash and recycling regularly; remove at end of shift
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dry storage areas and shelving
- Follow all daily and deep-cleaning dish procedures
- Assist with basic food prep and other kitchen tasks as directed
- Perform additional duties as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Commitment to cleanliness, safety, and quality standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods of time
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
