Melt Blown Room Assistant – 2nd Shift

We are currently seeking a Melt Blown Room Assistant to support the operation of our melt-blown filtration production equipment. This role works directly alongside the Melt Blown Machine Operator to ensure machines continue running efficiently and that product quality standards are maintained.
This is a critical production support role where reliability, attention to detail, and teamwork are essential.
Shift Schedule
2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday
6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
Enjoy a 3-day weekend every week.
What You’ll Do
The Melt Blown Room Assistant helps ensure the melt-blown production process runs smoothly across multiple machines.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist the Melt Blown Machine Operator in maintaining efficient production
- Remove completed product rolls from machines and stage them for processing
- Monitor machines during operation and alert the operator of irregularities
- Assist with quality checks to ensure product meets company standards
- Support documentation of production and process records
- Pull full carts of finished product out of the production room
- Help monitor and replenish raw materials to maintain continuous production
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the melt blown room
- Support environmental consistency within the room (air movement, cleanliness, etc.)
- Assist in minimizing material waste and scrap during machine operation
- Perform other duties that support efficient operation of the Melt Blown department

The Melt Blown Room Assistant plays a vital role in helping operators keep machines running smoothly once they are properly set, ensuring production remains consistent across multiple machines running simultaneously.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in filtration, textiles, plastics, or continuous production environments
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move materials (typically up to 40–50 lbs)
- Ability to push carts of finished product
- Ability to work in a warm production environment
- Ability to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE
