Veterinary Technician / Experienced Veterinary Assistant
Full-Time or Part-Time | Busy 5 Doctor Small Animal Practice
We are seeking a motivated, experienced Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join our fast-paced, team-oriented small animal practice. Our busy 5 veterinarian clinic is committed to providing exceptional patient care, outstanding client service, and a supportive work environment where teamwork matters.
The ideal candidate is dependable, efficient, compassionate, and able to work independently while thriving in a collaborative setting. We are looking for someone who is passionate about veterinary medicine and genuinely enjoys caring for both pets and the people who love them.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting veterinarians with appointments, treatments, and procedures
- Patient restraint and handling with compassion and confidence
- Laboratory sample collection and processing
- Administering medications and treatments
- Anesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance (depending on experience level)
- Client communication and education
- Maintaining accurate medical records
- Supporting a positive and efficient workflow throughout the hospital
Qualifications:
- Veterinary Technician experience preferred (licensed technicians encouraged to apply)
- Experienced Veterinary Assistants welcome
- Candidates currently enrolled in a Veterinary Technology program are also encouraged to apply
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Independent work ethic with attention to detail
- Compassionate, patient-focused attitude
