Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our vibrant team in a fast-paced nightclub environment. The ideal candidate will support bartenders by ensuring the bar area is clean, well-stocked, and organized. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service and maintaining a smooth operation during busy shifts. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist bartenders by preparing and restocking supplies, including glassware, garnishes, and beverages.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring timely service to guests.
- Handle bussing duties by clearing tables and removing empty glasses or dishes from the bar area.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons and responding to their needs promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication during busy periods, particularly for catering or banquet events.
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a bar, restaurant, or hospitality setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Experience with cash handling and cashiering responsibilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is a plus.
- Familiarity with cleaning protocols and maintaining hygiene standards in food service areas.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within the food industry are essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
