Homestead. in Northampton center is hiring for an evening dinner service dishwasher position.
Evenings and weekend availability are a must. Dishwashing experience is preferred but we are always willing to train the proper candidate. Looking to get into kitchens or see what they are all about? This is a great entry position in a kitchen focused on learning and growth.
Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and dry dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently and promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and prevent cross-contamination
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of operations during busy service hours
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided
- Familiarity with food service operations, including bussing, food preparation, or catering is advantageous
- Experience with cleaning protocols in a commercial kitchen setting is beneficial
- Knowledge of basic kitchen safety standards and food handling regulations preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting culinary staff and guest service teams
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
