They must also have the initiative and flexibility to work in a fast-paced business environment. A bachelor’s degree in business (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university is required. An emphasis in accounting and auditing is preferred.
This position involves the following activities:

Update and execute a risk-based audit plan approved by the Audit Committee

Develop practical, effective process improvement actions for implementation by management

Meet quarterly with the Audit Committee and plan, coordinate, and organize Committee information, guests, and minutes

Act as administrator for the company’s online board portal

Maintain the company’s record retention database

Aid and coordinate evaluations of the company’s external auditors
