Schroeder Law Group/Ohio Legacy Law is seeking a client-facing Attorney to join its growing Southern Ohio practice.
This position is a strong fit for either a newer attorney who wants to build real-world experience across several practice areas or an experienced attorney seeking meaningful work with better work-life balance.
The role includes appearances in local courts, collaboration as part of a litigation team, and direct client meetings for intake and strategy involving estate planning, probate, business, and real estate matters.
Responsibilities
- Meet with prospective and existing clients for intake, consultations, and strategy sessions involving estate planning, probate, business, and real estate matters.
- Represent clients in local courts and appear for hearings, conferences, and related proceedings as needed.
- Work as part of a litigation team, including matter development, client communication, and case support.
- Draft, review, and revise legal documents related to the firm’s core practice areas, including estate planning, probate, business, and real estate matters.
- Guide clients with clear, practical legal advice tailored to their goals and circumstances.
- Collaborate with firm staff to move matters forward efficiently and maintain a high level of client service.
Qualifications
- Licensed attorney in Ohio or expecting Ohio licensure in the near term.
- Strong interpersonal skills and comfort in a client-facing role.
- Ability to appear in local courts and handle matters professionally from intake through resolution.
- Interest in or experience with estate planning, probate, business, real estate, and related litigation.
- Organized, dependable, and able to work well within a team-based environment.
- New attorneys with strong initiative are encouraged to apply, and experienced attorneys seeking a balanced schedule are also welcome.
