SUMMARY
The Accounts Payable Supervisor is primarily responsible for the Accounts Payable function.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversees/conducts check run process

Balances vendor payments

Resolves issues with vendors

Sets up new vendors
-
Yearly W-9 filing
-
Bank account reconciliations
-
Distributes credit application and tax information
-
Follows IRS guidelines
-
Other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has primary supervision of the Accounts Payable staff including coaching, development, and assistance.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
-
Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year College or University; or equivalent experience.

Supervisory experience preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
