This role is a strong fit for individuals who step in without hesitation when something needs to be handled, adapt quickly in new or changing environments, naturally guide and support other caregivers, take pride in doing things the right way, communicate clearly with clients, families, and team members, and stay calm and focused under pressure.
As a Care Leader, you will work closely with the Care Coordinator and Scheduling Team to support both clients and caregivers. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of care, supporting transitions, and ensuring consistency in the field.
Ensure consistent, high-quality care for all assigned clients
Step in to support or cover shifts when unexpected changes occur
Lead new client starts, including caregiver introductions and shift kick-offs
Support and mentor caregivers in the field
Act as a communication bridge between clients, caregivers, and office staff
Reinforce company standards through leadership and example
You are confident in your ability to perform care across all service levels including companion, personal, and high-acuity care, support clients with Alzheimer’s and dementia, safely use gait belts, Hoyer lifts, and sit-to-stand lifts, and walk into any client environment, review the care plan, and execute care effectively.
Qualifications:
2 plus years of caregiving experience and HHA or CNA preferred
Lead by example through professionalism and quality care
Provide guidance and support to caregivers in the field
Reinforce best practices and company standards
This is a development role with a pathway to a Care Coordinator Assistant position.
