Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a prominent manufacturer in the Richmond/Chesterfield area, is seeking Large Coil Assembler to join their team!
Brazer Operator Job Summary:
- Pay: $23 – 24.25 an hour
- Shifts Available:
- 1st Shift 6:00am – 2:30pm
- 2nd Shift: 3:00pm – 11:30pm
Our client is seeking dependable and mechanically inclined Large Coil Assemblers to build custom industrial heat exchangers used in power generation, HVAC, food processing, pharmaceutical, and industrial applications. This position is responsible for assembling large custom coil units by interpreting blueprints, fitting components together, and preparing assemblies for brazing and final production.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with manufacturing, mechanical assembly, HVAC, construction, or fabrication experience who enjoy working with their hands.
Large Coil Assembler Key Responsibilities
- Assemble large custom heat exchangers according to blueprints and work instructions.
- Position, fit, and secure copper tubing, headers, fins, and structural components.
- Use hand and power tools to complete mechanical assembly.
- Measure and verify dimensions to ensure proper alignment and quality.
- Assist with moving and positioning large coil assemblies using cranes, hoists, or other material-handling equipment (training provided).
- Prepare assemblies for the brazing and final manufacturing process.
- Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures.
- Work closely with team members to meet daily production goals.
Large Coil Assembler Qualifications
- Previous experience in industrial manufacturing.
- Forklift or overhead crane experience.
- OSHA 10 Certification.
- Experience assembling large fabricated equipment or metal products
