Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Window and Door Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately installing, repairing, and replacing windows and doors across various residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will ensure that each installation meets quality standards, safety regulations, and client specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your craftsmanship and technical skills to enhance building functionality and aesthetics.
Responsibilities
- Measure openings precisely using dimensional measurement tools to ensure proper fitment of windows and doors
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to execute installations accurately
- Handle glass materials carefully during transportation, cutting, and installation to prevent damage
- Install windows, doors, fixtures, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and related components following manufacturer instructions and safety protocols
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for fabrication, assembly, caulking, and finishing work
- Perform quality control checks on measurements, alignments, and sealing (caulking) to guarantee durability and performance
- Assist with remodeling projects by fabricating custom components or modifying existing structures as needed
Skills
- Proficiency in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings or schematics
- Hands-on experience with window installation, glass materials handling, door hanging, and fixture installation
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques including trim carpentry, frame carpentry, cabinet installation, and metal stud framing
- Ability to operate hand tools such as saws, drills, levels, measuring tapes; familiarity with power tools is essential
- Experience with construction site activities including heavy lifting, remodeling, construction painting and handyman tasks
- Knowledge of construction safety standards related to glass handling and heavy lifting procedures
- Excellent measurement skills for quality control purposes; attention to detail in all aspects of installation

Pay: $25.31 - $35.21 per hour
