Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Brand Manager/Buyer to lead our product sourcing, category management, and supplier relationships. Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive category strategies by analyzing sales data, market trends, and customer preferences using tools such as Nielsen and SQL.
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes including sourcing, purchasing, contract negotiation, and supplier management to secure optimal terms and quality.
- Oversee supply chain logistics, demand planning, and inventory management to ensure product availability while minimizing excess stock.
- Collaborate with marketing teams on product development, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns to boost sales performance.
- Conduct financial analysis related to profit & loss statements, pricing models, and cost structures to maximize margins.
- Utilize data visualization and supply chain analytics to identify process improvements, streamline operations, and enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships through effective communication, contract management, and ongoing performance evaluations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in supply chain management, procurement, or category management within a retail or e-commerce environment.
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in SQL, data mining tools, ERP systems, and demand planning software.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract management and vendor sourcing.
- Knowledge of Nielsen data insights and supply chain analytics to inform strategic decisions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Financial acumen with experience in profit & loss analysis, pricing strategies, and financial modeling.
- Familiarity with logistics operations, inventory control systems, and process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma is preferred.
