Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Framing Carpenter in Auburndale, FL. We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter for commercial construction projects in the Auburndale, FL area. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in steel stud framing and finish carpentry, with the ability to deliver high-quality craftsmanship on complex commercial builds.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25 to $40 Per Hour BOE
Responsibilities:
- Install steel stud framing for interior and exterior commercial walls
- Perform finish carpentry including the installation of trim, molding, and millwork
- Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and technical specifications
- Layout wall lines and floor tracks according to architectural plans
- Install commercial doors, frames, and hardware
- Utilize a variety of hand and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble materials
- Ensure all framing is plumb, level, and square to meet quality standards
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other trades to maintain project schedules
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following OSHA safety guidelines
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2+ years of professional carpentry experience required
- Demonstrated experience with commercial steel stud framing
- Proficiency in finish carpentry and trim work
- Ability to read and comprehend construction documents and blueprints
- Strong knowledge of commercial carpentry materials, methods, and tools
- Reliable transportation to the job site in Auburndale, FL
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced contract construction environment
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods
- Comfortable working at heights on ladders or scaffolding
- Manual dexterity and coordination to operate power tools and handle materials
- Ability to work in environment with exposure to dust, loud noise, and varying temperatures
- Visual acuity to read measurements and ensure precision in layout
Pay Transparency:
The anticipated pay range for this position is $25 to $40 per hour, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
