Position Overview
Northwest Fire Systems is seeking an experienced and highly organized Warehouse / Inventory Manager to oversee all inventory management, purchasing, and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring materials are available when needed, maintaining accurate inventory records, optimizing purchasing processes, and leading warehouse personnel.

Key Responsibilities
· Manage all inventory control and purchasing activities for Northwest Fire Systems.
· Monitor and fulfill material requirements for service jobs through existing inventory or purchasing.
· Maintain and update tracking spreadsheets and inventory systems to ensure accurate communication of material status.
· Coordinate with service, inspection, and installation departments to procure materials in a timely manner.
· Monitor open purchase orders and provide status updates to stakeholders.
· Enter and maintain purchase orders within the company's accounting software.
· Develop, implement, and maintain effective inventory control systems and procedures.
· Analyze inventory levels and recommend strategies to optimize stock while minimizing excess inventory.
· Identify and implement improvements to purchasing and inventory processes.
· Lead and manage warehouse staff, schedules, and daily operations.
· Maintain accurate inventory records and generate regular inventory reports.
· Conduct cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.
· Ensure compliance with company policies and workplace safety standards.
· Negotiate pricing and manage vendor relationships to maximize value and service quality.
· Implement and manage asset-tracking procedures to ensure accountability and proper utilization of company resources.

Qualifications
Required
· Proven experience in warehouse management, inventory control, and purchasing.
· Minimum of 2 years of inventory control experience.
· Strong understanding of inventory management systems and software.
· Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
· Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
· Ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to commute to Kent, WA.
Preferred
· Experience within the fire protection, construction, mechanical, or related industries.
· Experience with ERP, accounting, or inventory management software.
· Vendor negotiation and procurement experience.
