Vigilant Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Locum Anesthesiologist to join a collaborative and highly respected medical team in Richardson, Texas. This is a locum/travel opportunity in a modern, well-equipped clinical environment where patient safety and quality of care are top priorities.
You will provide anesthesia care across a diverse adult surgical and procedural case mix while working alongside a dedicated group of medical professionals in a setting that follows nationally recognized standards of care. Multiple positions may be available, offering the opportunity to be part of a strong, team-oriented practice.
What You’ll Do
- Provide anesthesia services for general surgery, orthopedics, neuro, OBGYN, urology, vascular, podiatry, and GI cases
- Support safe perioperative care, including pre-anesthesia evaluation, intraoperative management, and post-anesthesia follow-up as appropriate
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, CRNAs, nurses, and procedural teams to promote efficient patient care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow facility protocols
- Deliver high-quality anesthesia care in an adult-focused setting with no pediatric cases
What We’re Looking For
- Board-certified or board-eligible Anesthesiologist
- Active Texas medical license preferred
- Experience with a broad surgical case mix, including general, orthopedic, neuro, OBGYN, urology, vascular, podiatry, and GI cases
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient safety
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based clinical environment
Schedule & Coverage
- Monday through Friday schedule
- 5x8-hour shifts
- No pediatric cases noted
