Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings, including water supply lines, drain systems, and fixtures.
- Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools and materials to job sites.
- Use hand tools, power tools, plumbing inspection cameras, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete projects efficiently.
- Perform drain cleaning using specialized equipment to clear blockages and ensure proper flow.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to guide installation or repair work accurately.
- Conduct plumbing system inspections to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Assist with remodeling projects by assembling plumbing components and performing system upgrades or modifications.
- Adhere to local building codes and safety regulations during all phases of work while maintaining a clean and organized work site.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs or installations clearly and professionally.
- Engage in construction site experience, heavy lifting, and assembly tasks as needed to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing systems in residential or commercial environments.
- Skilled in welding, pipe threading, drain cleaning, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Knowledge of construction plumbing standards, remodeling techniques, and plumbing inspection cameras.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Familiarity with local building codes related to plumbing installations and repairs.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely.
- Physical ability for heavy lifting, working at heights, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
- Handyman experience or background in construction site work is a plus.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe sizes or system layouts.
