Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales/Customer Service Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining a well-organized store environment. Your ability to communicate effectively and engage with customers will be key to driving sales and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products.
- Perform water testing
- Upsell additional products based on customer needs and preferences.
- Maintain stock levels by organizing merchandise and replenishing shelves as needed.
- Perform cash handling duties, including operating the cash register and processing transactions accurately.
- Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and visually appealing to enhance the shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Answer phone calls and assist customers
- Work rotating Saturday schedule during the peak season (April-September)
- Other duties as necessary
Skills
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
- Experience in sales with a focus on upselling techniques.
- Proficiency in cash handling and operating a POS system or cash register.
- Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and retail math applications.
- Ability to perform product demos that engage customers and highlight product features.
- Organizational skills to manage stock levels and maintain store presentation.
