Wellness Coach – Senior Fitness
Encore Wellness is seeking a passionate Wellness Coach driven by the aspiration to improve the lives of the older adult population through fun and fitness. With your lively and positive personality, you will be connecting with others, motivating them to reach their goals, and guiding them through their exercise routine. You will positively impact the lives of our members, as you lead them through their journey towards a better, healthier lifestyle.
Hours will be Monday – Friday, 7:30a – 4:30p.
This position will be located at:
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate new member orientation
Customize and modify exercise programs for members
Lead FUN and EXCITING group exercise classes in-center or virtually
Sanitize to provide a clean and safe environment for members and staff
Answer phones with a friendly tone, check-in members
Maintain member files, capturing and storing member-specific data from their workouts
Supports our Virtual team half of each day
Graduate or student of a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology, Exercise Science or related field, or 2 years of fitness background/training
Comfortable working independently, as this is a Single Coach facility
Reliable transportation
Bilingual, Spanish (highly preferred)
Exceptional customer service
Flexibility to change from one task to another with minimal effort
Three weeks PTO the first two years; four weeks beginning third year

Competitive pay, depending on experience ($16 – $17/hr)
