We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Compensation Analyst to consult for our team in the B2B SaaS space. This role is critical in shaping our company's compensation strategy and ensuring we attract and retain top talent in a competitive market. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and administering compensation policies and programs.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive compensation analysis and provide recommendations based on market trends, internal equity, and strategic alignment.
2. Utilize compensation tools such as Radford, OpenComp, Pave, and Mercer to conduct competitive benchmarking for various job roles.
3. Partner with HR and business leaders to create and implement compensation strategies that align with the company's business objectives.
4. Develop and maintain job descriptions for all positions, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
5. Participate in salary surveys and analyze survey data results to ensure our compensation strategy remains competitive.
6. Collaborate with the HR team in the development of incentive programs and performance management systems.
7. Provide guidance to management on pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluations.
8. Develop and deliver training to HR and management on compensation-related topics.
9. Model and forecast the cost of labor, considering various factors such as market trends, company performance, and budget constraints.
10. Continuously improve compensation processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 4 years of experience in compensation analysis, preferably in the Tech Services industry.
3. Proficient in using compensation tools such as Radford, OpenComp, Pave, and Mercer.
4. Strong analytical and modeling skills with the ability to interpret and analyze data.
5. Solid understanding of compensation practices and trends, job analysis, and job evaluation principles.
6. Knowledge of federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
7. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
8. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
9. High level of professionalism and discretion, as this role involves handling sensitive and confidential information.
10. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and HRIS systems.
