Job Summary
The legacy Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) shutdown program is underway with companies like Lumen, etc. Geographically, you will start our in states like Colorado and Nebraska. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented person involved in shutting down devices in central office facilities and commercial establishments. This vital role involves planning, coordinating, and executing the phased removal of equipment, infrastructure, and systems from designated central office locations.
It is preferable either have a car or the ability to rent.a car. We will cover the cost of the car use. At the very least, you must have a valid drivers license.
Responsibilities
- use your assigned laptop to check your assigned list of devices and sites to work on and plan the weekly route.
- Coordinate with relevant points of contact to schedule each site decommission
- The actual disconnect is simple with no need for removal of equipment from the premises.
- Must have the ability to work patiently error free but at a good pace. Fill up detailed daily reports.
- Be creative in dealing with customers who may not even be aware of what is being decommissioned as these lists are generated by the supplier.
- Experience
- Some understanding of central office equipment,
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with team members, vendors, and management.
Pay: $1,000.00 - $2,000.00 per week
