Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, experienced Medical Assistant to join our busy Internal Medicine practice. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients during check-in and check-out processes, ensuring a positive patient experience
- Take and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature
- Assist with patient intake procedures and gather comprehensive medical histories
- Prepare patients for examinations
- Support physicians during clinical procedures
- Operate and maintain EHR systems (EPIC) for documentation of patient encounters, ICD coding, and medical records management
Requirements
- Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is REQUIRED. Minimum 1 year experience.
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. EPIC experience is a plus!
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
