Position Overview
The Tax Manager will oversee and manage all tax-related activities for the organization. This role involves ensuring compliance with tax laws, preparing and reviewing tax returns, and providing strategic tax planning services to clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various tax structures and a proactive approach to optimizing tax strategies.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of federal and state tax returns for various entities including partnerships, S-Corps, C-Corps, and real estate ventures.

Conduct tax research and provide guidance on tax issues and strategies, ensuring compliance with current tax regulations.

Collaborate with clients to understand their tax situations and develop comprehensive tax planning strategies tailored to high-net-worth individuals (HNWI).

Review and manage tax audits and communications with tax authorities.

Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, providing training and support as needed.

Stay current with tax laws and regulations, and assess their impact on the organization and clients.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.

At least 5 years of experience in tax preparation and planning, with a focus on partnerships and corporate tax structures.

Experience with CCH Axcess software is a plus.

Strong understanding of real estate taxation and high-net-worth individual requirements.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
