American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR Circulator RN for a 13-week travel contract in Statesboro, GA, requiring 2+ years of OR experience including robotics, ortho, general, and OB/GYN cases.

Hospital-based Operating Room setting with 9 OR suites

Scope of practice is circulating, including pulling supplies and equipment for cases
-
Patient ratio is 1:1
-
Robotics, orthopedic, general surgery, and OB/GYN cases performed
-
Schedule is either 3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) or 5x8-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–3:30 PM)

On-call required: 1–2 nights per week (first and second call) and 1 weekend every 6 weeks
-
EMR: Cerner
-
Active GA RN license or Compact RN license required
-
Minimum 2 years of recent OR RN experience required
-
Experience in robotics, orthopedic, general surgery, and OB/GYN cases required
-
BLS certification required; no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start

Cerner experience preferred

Valid driver's license required for consideration

No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Responsibilities include circulating in the OR, ensuring supplies and equipment are ready for cases, communicating with patient families, maintaining physician preference cards, and supervising personnel delivering patient care

Works collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, ORTs, and other surgical team members in accordance with AORN standards and State Nurse Practice Act

Green scrubs required

RTO requests must be less than one week in duration

Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position

First-time travelers are not mentioned as eligible; 2+ years of OR experience is required
