Endeavor School of the Arts is expanding our team! We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and highly motivated teacher to join our studio sub list. The ideal candidate is not only technically skilled in various dance styles but also thrives on inspiring students to perform at their highest level in a competitive environment. **We are currently looking for substitute teachers with the possibility of adding permanent classes in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and choreograph classes in one or more styles (e.g., jazz, lyrical, & contemporary).
- Create innovative & age-appropriate choreography for a variety of classes.
- Lead competitive rehearsals, clean routines, and provide constructive feedback to dancers.
- Foster a positive, disciplined, and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Strong background in multiple dance disciplines.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
- Experience working with children and teens in a classroom or studio setting.
- Willingness to work evenings and/or weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree or certification in Dance or related field (not required but a plus).
- Experience as a competitive dancer and/or judge.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
