Responsibilities
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and learning activities to ensure safety and engagement.
- Assist lead teachers with implementing age-appropriate curriculum and developmental activities that foster growth in social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
- Support children with personal care needs such as diapering, toileting, and feeding while maintaining hygiene standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily activities, progress, and any concerns.
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures and mandated reporting laws for child safety incidents.
- Support behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among children.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of child development instruction and early childhood education principles.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
- Classroom experience involving toddler care or infant care enhances your suitability for this role.
- Certification in first aid, CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), pediatric first aid or related safety training is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents and team members.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies in early childhood settings.

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
