- Recording transactions in the appropriate company account ledgers using spreadsheets or accounting software
- Reviewing account ledgers for accuracy and correcting errors, such as duplications or typos
- Preparing and filing basic financial documents, such as income statements, profit and loss (P&L) statements and totals by account
- Reconciling accounts by comparing bank information to records
- Organizing receipts, invoices and physical copies of financial documents
- Assisting with tax payments and returns
- Maintaining compliance with financial reporting regulations
- Annual budgetings
- Payroll Support: Calculate earnings and deductions, track hours, and execute payroll processing.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage incoming vendor invoices, process employee/contractor payments, and track outstanding client receivables.
- Other responsibiliities as appropriate
Ideal candidate would know government compliant software packages such as QuickBooks, Williamson Law accounting, or other software packages.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
