Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Floor Technician to join our cleaning team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our commercial facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all occupants.
Shift Hours: 9:00PM-3:00AM
Shift Schedule: 4/2 - (4 days on /2 days off)
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning tasks to maintain the overall appearance of the facility, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean carpets, including carpet cleaning and maintenance to prevent wear and tear.
- Use specialized equipment, such as buffers and scrubbers, to clean and maintain hard floors.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly stored and maintained.
- Monitor and report any maintenance or repair issues with floors, carpets, or other surfaces.
- Work collaboratively with other cleaning staff and management to ensure all areas of the facility are thoroughly cleaned and maintained.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when performing tasks.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning, custodial, or a related field.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and methods.
- Ability to lift and move heavy cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Familiarity with environmental services and the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment.
Skills:
- Experience with carpet cleaning and floor care techniques.
- Ability to operate specialized cleaning equipment, such as buffers and scrubbers.
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and procedures.
- Familiarity with custodial and environmental services.
- Experience with cleaning and maintaining commercial facilities.

Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour
