Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and attentive Waiter to join our upcoming hospitality team! Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create memorable dining moments for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed, valued, and satisfied from start to finish. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and take accurate orders for food and beverages, utilizing POS systems like Square POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
- Upsell menu items such as specialty speciality dinners or desserts to maximize sales opportunities.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are strictly followed during food handling and serving.
- Process cash and card transactions accurately, including processing sales transactions and giving correct change.
- Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas quickly to accommodate incoming guests.
- Maintain excellent guest relations by responding promptly to requests and resolving any issues professionally.
- Support the team with basic food preparation tasks when needed and uphold sanitation protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or high-volume settings.
- Must speak Turkish and English to ensure clear communication with customers as this is a Turkish/middle eastern restaurant
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that fosters guest satisfaction.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly..
- Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is a plus for understanding food preparation processes.
- Previous experience with reservation platforms like OpenTable is desirable.
- Strong communication skills coupled with a passion for hospitality and guest relations.
