Part Time CRNA Needed at Central Austin, TX Specialty Hospital. This position presents a great opportunity to further your knowledge and learn a specialty. Heart Hospital of Austin features 6 ORs and 1 EP lab in specialty adult 72 bed facility. Our surgeons are exceptionally friendly, caring, and have been recognized to produce great outcomes. There is professional autonomy, including lines, within team model in an award-winning hospital. Additionally, this position encourages collaborative working relationships and provides access to high acuity cases outside academics. Help will always be available. 9 CRNAs, 4 MDs on staff.

Responsibilities
- Case assignments: Open hearts, electrophysiology lab, endovascular, NORA, and general surgery. No OB, peds, or neuro. In 2022, there were 680 pump cases, 250 TAVRs, 65 mitral clips.
- Pre-anesthesia assessment
- Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
- Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Requirements
- Schedule: Part-time 32 hours/week with flexible. No call, weekends, holidays!
- Current license as a registered professional nurse
- Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
