Contracts Administrator
Greater Portland Maine | Direct Hire | Full-Time
Pay: $85-100K, depending on experience
Our client, a growing organization located in the Greater Portland Maine area, is seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to manage the full lifecycle of government and commercial contracts. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys partnering with cross-functional teams to support complex contractual matters from proposal through execution!
What You'll Do:
- Manage the administration of commercial and U.S. Government contracts throughout the full contract lifecycle.
- Review, negotiate, and interpret contract terms, proposals, amendments, and non-disclosure agreements.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to identify contractual risks and ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for contractual communications, negotiations, and issue resolution.
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready contract documentation and support process improvements across the department.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 4+ years of contract administration experience.
- Knowledge of U.S. Government contracting regulations, including FAR, DFARS, ITAR, and EAR.
- Experience negotiating and administering complex government and commercial contracts.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with program management, finance, engineering, purchasing, and other cross-functional teams.
