Our office is looking for a registered dental hygienist 4 days per week. Our current hygienist is moving- TO FLORIDA! This would start Mid Sept/October. The hours are from 7:30am-3:30pm. (first patient at 8am) Mon- Thurs so you'll always have a 3 day weekend. We are looking for applicants with great communication skills, a team oriented mindset, and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities :
- Assisting team with equipment set-up, breakdown, and sterilization
- Provide dental education to patients regarding tooth care and diet
- Take all reasonable methods to ensure patient comfort
- Remove plaque and calculus by scaling and polishing teeth
- Must be comfortable taking digital x-rays
- Charting patient records as needed; update all medical records as necessary
- Prophy, Perio, SC/RP, Explaining treatment plans and detailed note taking required.
- Maintain license with appropriate Continuing Education
Qualifications :
- Must hold active RDH license and x-ray certification
