Responsibilities

Coordinate daily back-of-house operations, including Team Member shifts, breaks, and placement

Open, transition, and close the restaurant following proper procedures to ensure that the team for the current and following shift is set up successfully to serve guests

Oversee food preparation and ensure all menu items meet Chick-fil-A’s quality standards.

Strong knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen operations.

Ensure adherence to procedures for food handling, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.

Work in multiple positions of the restaurant at any given time during the day to meet business demands

Work alongside Management to ensure the business is moving forward

Train Team Members and ensure they are consistently monitoring food quality, temperatures, and maintaining a clean work environment

Troubleshoot, problem-solve, and make quick decisions on a daily basis based on the operation need at any given moment
-
Work in a fast-paced, multiple levels, high volume environment leading our team to deliver remarkable service

Beginner experience in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, iPads, and POS system.

Back of House Shift Lead will ensure daily Food and Quality Assessments are completed, manage breaks, cleaning checklists, and complete setups.

Reports to the Kitchen Manager
Note: Shift Lead responsibilities are not limited to the ones listed above and from time to time may be required to perform additional duties to support business demands
Requirements

Experience in quick service, hospitality, or customer service industry

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent

Bend and lift up to 50lbs

Stand for long periods of time
