Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, with the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the capability to work with various refrigeration systems, including ammonia refrigeration. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal perfomance of HVAC systems and providing excellent service to our clients.
Duties
- A/C and Pool heater service
- Profitably perform service and maintenance call as dispatched
- Conduct field service operations on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems across various property types.
- Properly maintain your assigned service vehicle
- Maintain detailed service records, complete inspection reports, and document all work performed for quality assurance.
- Assist with plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems and property maintenance projects as needed.
- Operate company vehicles safely while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Attend all company required meetings and take continued education classes.
- Use technical skills to troubleshoot ammonia refrigeration systems and other specialized equipment in commercial settings.
- Collaborate with other departments as needed.
- Use available communication system with customers, dispatcher, manager, and owner, and when possible sell our products and services.
- Well train the right candidate, and provice you with exceptional benefits pachage (after 90 days)
Experience
- Proven experience as an HVAC service technician or in a similar field service role involving HVAC/R systems.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, welding, boiler operation, and property maintenance.
- Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, and troubleshooting techniques for complex systems.
- Experience working with refrigeration systems—including ammonia refrigeration—is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems related to HVAC setups is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in operating company vehicles safely is essential.
