Customer Service Representative
U.S. Pest Protection is a family-owned, locally operated pest control company with over 40 years of service to Middle Tennessee — and we're growing fast. We're expanding from 40 to 60 routes in 2026 and need a sharp, reliable Customer Service Representative who takes pride in doing things right the first time.
This is not a call center job. Our CSRs are the operational backbone of our branches — detail-oriented professionals who keep our accounts accurate, our customers happy, and our team moving.
What You'll Do
- Process and document every customer interaction in PestPac — calls, payments, service requests, and cancellation requests
- Process daily pest and termite production, ensuring all dates and technician data are accurate before 10:00 AM
- Handle new sales agreements: create accounts, upload documents, set up service orders, and add to the sales backlog
- Perform daily A/R balancing at 3:00 PM and communicate balance status to branches and corporate
- Make collection calls (minimum 1 hour per day), issue collection letters, and escalate bad debt on schedule
- Conduct 3-day follow-up calls on extra services and document outcomes with the appropriate note codes
- Generate leads from after-hours voicemails and emails; distribute to field inspectors immediately
- Act as the bridge between customers, pest pros, and management — resolving issues, scheduling services, and escalating concerns
- Generate credit memos, reverse payment requests, check requests, and clearance letters as needed
- Provide daily and as-needed reports to upper management
What We're Looking For
- Exceptional attention to detail — you double-check your work before moving on
- Strong communication skills: professional, clear, and concise on every call
- Experience with PestPac or similar field service/CRM software preferred
- Comfortable with numbers — daily balancing and A/R reconciliation are a core part of this role
- Self-motivated and dependable
- Positive attitude and a genuine desire to serve customers and support your team
- Prior experience in pest control, home services, or a multi-branch office environment is a plus
