Vine & Olive is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated part time Server for Monday night to join our dynamic team. Must be passionate about food and wine and be able to talk about them both enthusiastically.
V&O is a casual upscale restaurant and wine bar in Riverstone known for warm hospitality, elevated seasonal menu, and thoughtfully curated wine list - we cater to casual wine drinkers and serious enthusiasts. Our team takes pride in creating memorable dining experiences that balance approachability with sophistication.
Position Overview:
Candidate must have proven serving experience at an elevated restaurant or wine bar, a genuine passion for hospitality, and strong wine knowledge to guide guests through our wine options. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced yet refined environment and loves creating connections with guests.
Must be available to work every Monday 5-Close and cover vacations and large events throughout the summer. This is a permanent position and could move into more shifts if desired. We are open seven days a week at 2pm (except Sundays we open at 4pm).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, professional, and friendly service in alignment with our hospitality standards
- Guide guests through food and wine selections, offering thoughtful recommendations
- Accurately take and deliver orders, ensuring an exceptional dining experience from start to finish
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of our menu, specials, and wine list
- Uphold cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations
- Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of serving experience in an upscale dining environment, wine bar, or comparable restaurant
- Strong working knowledge of wine varietals, regions, and pairings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, polished presence with a guest-first mindset
- Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure
- Availability for evenings and weekends
