Summary: CareXM is seeking a Director of Implementation to serve as a core leader within our operational and customer delivery organization. This role has ownership over the strategy, execution, and optimization of CareXM’s implementation function—ensuring that customer projects are delivered on time, communicated clearly, and executed with technical rigor.
Responsibilities:
- Enable CareXM to deliver best-in-class customer implementations by ensuring projects are delivered on time, predictably, and with high execution quality.
- Drive delivery predictability by documenting and optimizing the core implementation processes, playbooks, and technical readiness checklists.
- Achieve 95%+ on-time delivery for customer implementations quarter over quarter while tracking performance through clear KPIs and reporting.
- Translate complex technical deployment, integration, and workflow requirements into simple, succinct, and clear execution plans for both internal teams and clients.
- Establish strong alignment around implementation timelines, dependencies, expectations, and risks across all departments.
- Serve as the executive sponsor and operational leader for strategic implementation initiatives and major deployments, bringing a strong, decisive vendor perspective to client interactions.
- Maintain strong scope control through change management processes and handle escalations with resolution-focused ownership and clear, timely decision-making.
- Provide structure, prioritization, and decisive leadership so implementation teams feel supported, accountable, and free from administrative friction.
- Maintain hands-on ownership of your own workload, actively diving deep into our products and managing specific implementations to build true intuition of our technical ecosystem.
Qualifications:
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 5 or more years of experience in an implementation leadership role, specifically driving results from a software/service vendor perspective.
- Proven experience managing, mentoring, and developing a team of direct reports to achieve performance goals and career growth.
- Demonstrated experience building and leading high-performing implementation and delivery teams from a vendor perspective.
- Proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional projects on schedule through disciplined execution and milestone management.
- True systems understanding that goes beyond high-level application EMR/EHR configuration; must be able to clearly articulate the technical mechanics of complex deployment constraints and data exchange.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, steer teams toward solutions, and identify risks early.
- Must be organized to manage your own implementation portfolio and stay up to date with every customer in our pipeline.
- You will primarily work standard business hours, with the expectation of flexibility to support the team and our clients during critical implementation phases.
- Minimal travel is required, estimated at 10% or less, to support strategic deployments and team alignment.
